Head Coach - 1st Season

Brocklon Chatman has been named the new head coach of the Iowa Wesleyan College men's soccer program.

Chatman replaces Shane Taylor, who coached the Tigers in the 2010 season but left to take the coaching job at MacMurray University in Jacksonville, Ill.

Chatman comes to Wesleyan from Missouri Baptist University, where he was a graduate assistant with the men's soccer program the past two years. He assisted in all aspects of the everyday operations of the program for the Spartans, an NAIA member of the American Midwest Conference, while also working on his master's degree in Sport Management.

Chatman also has been a coach with the Scott Gallagher Soccer Club in St. Louis the past two years. He was head coach of four teams and responsible for the training and development of more than 50 athletes, and also served as Age Group Coordinator where he was in charge of recruiting for the club. This year he also received his "C" coaching license from the United States Soccer Federation.

Chatman played in college at Missouri Baptist, where he graduated in 2009 with his bachelor's degree in Professional Studies. As a player he was named AMC Freshman of the Year in 2005 and was named all-conference from 2005-07, including First Team All-AMC in 2005 and 2007. Chatman has both his bachelor's and master's degrees from Missouri Baptist, including the completion of a master's in Sport Management from MBU in Dec. 2011.

Chatman is a native of St. Louis and a graduate of Christian Brothers College High School. He started his duties at IWC on March 1 and now resides in Mount Pleasant.

Assistant Coach - 3rd Season
Luis Cacho is in his third season as an assistant coach with the IWC men's soccer program.

Cacho has coached in the eastern Iowa area for a number of years. That includes coaching at Columbus High School in nearby Columbus Junction for the past three years. In 2008 he led the Wildcats to a 12-3 record and was named the Burlington Hawk Eye boy's soccer Coach of the Year for southeast Iowa. Columbus spent much of the season ranked in the Iowa Division 1A state rankings.

A native of the island of Honduras, Cacho has coached for much of his life, coaching in a number of Hispanic leagues as well as youth leagues. In addition to coaching soccer, Cacho works full time in human resources at Hon Company in Muscatine.

Cacho is married to wife Michelle and has three daughters (Sabre, Sasha and Stephanie). The family resides in Muscatine.

Student Assistant - 1st Season

Reinaldo Hall is in his first year as a student assistant coach with the Iowa Wesleyan men's soccer program.

Hall was a four-year letter winner with the IWC men's soccer team from 2007-10, when he played in 60 games and started 43 over his four-year career. Hall played primarily as a defenseman and finished his career with one goal scored in the 2008 season. He also was a member of the Tiger track & field program for two years in 2008 and 2009, where he competed in the long jump and was a two-year letter winner.

Hall is a native of Trincity, Trinidad & Tobago and is working on finishing his IWC degree in Exercise Science.
