Mount Pleasant, Iowa - October 5, 2017 - In today's women's soccer match, the Iowa Wesleyan Tigers took on Spalding University.  The Tigers entered the match with one loss in conference play after falling to Webster earlier in the week

Spalding struck first, scoring the first goal of the game just under nine minutes in. They added another goal shortly after.  Iowa Wesleyan would give up six more goals before the half was over.

Alex Eyman started her first match in the goal for the Tigers.  She had a busy day, as the Golden Eagles took twenty-six shots on goal.  Eyman recorded eighteen saves in her first day with IW.

Iowa Wesleyan's next game will be this Saturday, October 7th.  They will take on Fontbonne University at 3 pm.
