Mount Pleasant, Iowa: May 8, 2017 − Iowa Wesleyan Tiger Club announces the 2017 Golf Outing benefiting Tiger Athletics on Wednesday, June 21, at the Spirit Hollow Golf Course in Burlington.
The Tiger Club exists to enhance the continued growth, success, and tradition of Tiger Athletics through philanthropic support and partnerships from our alumni, friends, and supporters of Iowa Wesleyan University. The Tiger Club Golf Outing benefits all aspects of Tiger Athletics directly supporting our student-athletes. For the past two years, the golf outing has been an important part of Tigers Athletics fundraising and growth.
"Building from last year's sold out outing, we look forward to raising support once again for Tiger Athletics. Our University and student-athletes are incredibly grateful to all those who support our Tiger Athletic programs throughout the year and who come out for this exciting outing. We continue to see growth in our athletic programs and look forward to strengthening the overall athletic department with the dedication of our loyal donors and friends," said Dr. Wes Brooks, Vice President for Student Development.
The day includes 18 holes of golf on a championship golf course as well as a cart, box lunch, beverage tickets, post-outing reception with dinner, and many raffle drawings.
